Disclaimer
The app, the Budget Health Scorecard quiz, and any PDF report or email generated from it are general information tools based on the figures and answers you provide. They do not take into account your individual objectives, financial situation, or needs, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified financial advisor, accountant, lawyer, or other licensed professional.
You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on your use of Budget Blueprint Pro or the Budget Health Scorecard. We recommend consulting a qualified professional before making any financial, legal, or tax decisions.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the app and scorecard accurate and functioning correctly, but we don't guarantee that calculations, projections, or forecasts will be error-free or suitable for your specific circumstances.
Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Budget Blueprint Pro is operated under ABN 97 585 504 781. You can contact us at budgetblueprintpro@gmail.com.
2. The product
Budget Blueprint Pro is a personal budgeting web application delivered as a downloadable file. It runs entirely in your browser. We don't connect to your bank, and your financial data isn't uploaded to us or stored on our servers.
To let you know when a new version is available, the app periodically checks a small file on our website for the current version number. This check doesn't send any personal information, not even a device identifier, and it's separate from and unrelated to your financial data, which stays local either way. You can turn it off anytime in Settings → About.
3. License
When you purchase Budget Blueprint Pro, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your own personal or household budgeting. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly share copies of the app or its source code.
4. Plans and payment
Budget Blueprint Pro is available as a one-time Lifetime purchase, or as a recurring Monthly or Annual subscription. Purchases are processed by Gumroad; Gumroad's own terms and payment processing policies also apply to your transaction.
As a digital product delivered instantly on purchase, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, except where required by law. For example, the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply regardless of this policy and can't be excluded by it. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your Gumroad Library; access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and no partial refund is given for the unused portion.
5. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to circumvent the license verification system.
- Don't redistribute, resell, or share your license key with others.
- Don't reverse-engineer the app for the purpose of building a competing product.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Budget Blueprint Pro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including financial decisions made based on information the app or scorecard provides.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Budget Blueprint Pro (the app): your financial data (accounts, transactions, goals, etc.) stays in your browser's local storage or in files you choose to save. It is never sent to us or stored on our servers.
- Budget Health Scorecard: when you complete the scorecard, we collect the name and email you provide, your quiz answers, and your resulting score. This is stored in a private Google Sheet used only to send you your results and, if you don't opt out, occasional related emails.
- Purchases: payment details are collected and processed by Gumroad, not by us. We don't see or store your card details.
- Update checks: to notify you of new versions, the app periodically requests a small file from our website containing the current version number. This request doesn't include any personal information or identify your device, and can be turned off in Settings → About.
How we use it
- To generate and email your personalised Budget Health Report.
- To occasionally send practical money tips or product updates, if you haven't opted out.
- To respond if you contact us for support.
Opting out
Every email we send includes an opt-out link. Clicking it removes you from future emails. If you retake the Budget Health Scorecard after opting out, that's treated as renewed consent to receive your new results.
Data sharing
We don't sell your data. We share only what's necessary to operate the service, for example Gumroad for payment processing, and Google (Sheets, Docs, Gmail) to generate and deliver your scorecard results, since the scorecard backend runs on Google's infrastructure.
Data retention
Once a year, we clean up the scorecard submissions list: email addresses that have opted out are deleted from the list completely, and where the same person has taken the scorecard more than once, older duplicate entries are removed so only their most recent, still-opted-in record is kept. This keeps the list accurate and free of stale duplicates rather than growing indefinitely.
Separately, we also keep a fully anonymized record of scorecard results (score, category, and question answers, with no name, email, or other identifying information attached) indefinitely, for understanding trends across everyone who's taken the scorecard (for example, which areas people tend to score lowest on). Because this record contains nothing that identifies you, it isn't affected by opting out or by the annual cleanup described above.
